We’d like to remind clients about self-distribution restrictions based on license type.

Certain license types cannot accept beer that is self-distributed:

  1. Type 75 – All beer that a Type 75 brings on-site must come through a licensed distributor (i.e., Type 17).  Drop off or pick up from the Type 23 brewery would not be permitted.
  2. Type 23 duplicate with a restaurant – All beer that a Type 23 duplicate with a bona fide eating establishment brings on-site must come through a licensed distributor (i.e., Type 17).  The original Type 23 licensee may still accept self-distributed beer from another Type 23, presuming the original Type 23 licensee has the ability to serve other people’s beer and wine.
